MAGNETIC SIGN USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION
• When applying SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS to your vehicle, ensure that the surface area of the vehicle is completely free of dust, dirt, grease or other contaminate. A dirty surface will hinder adhesion.
• Ensure that the back side of the Magnetic is clean before applying to vehicle
• SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS will not adhere to vehicle surfaces that are of non-metallic composition (i.e. fiberglass, high-density plastic, etc.)
• Ensure that no part of the vehicle surface contains Bondo or body filler.
• Magnetic signs should not be installed on freshly painted or freshly clear-coated vehicles.
• Ensure that you order the proper sized Magnetic signs. They should not cover body moldings or grooves nor extend beyond the contours of the vehicle.
• Avoid installing Magnetic Signs where there is a danger of gasoline spillage
REMOVAL
• Never leave the SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS on the vehicle while unattended. This may result in the Magnetic signs being stolen.
• SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS with dark background colors cannot remain on the vehicle for extended periods during hot seasons.
• Your SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGN must be removed at least once a week.
STORAGE & CARE
• When storing Magnetic signs, lay them completely flat in a dry, warm place.
• Never bend or fold SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS as this may result in permanent damage. They must remain completely flat. Bends or bubbles in the Magnetic signs may allow air to lift the magnetic from the surface of the vehicle.
• If slight folds or creases occur by accident, lay the SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS down on a flat surface and soften with the heat from a blow dryer. Do not use a Heat Gun or Steam.
| As is evident, there is a wide selection of steps to follow in order to ensure that your SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS stay in good shape. For this reason, it is not possible for Speedpro Imaging to offer any guarantees on lost, stolen, or damaged Magnetics. Our guarantee extends only to the adhesion of our vinyl graphics to the surface of the magnetic material. However, by following the above noted guidelines your SPEEDPRO MAGNETIC SIGNS should last long time. |
